What this site is
Stone & Century is a small, independently written guide to five real historic house hotels in Britain. The site does not offer bookings, accounts, or payments of any kind — the only interactive feature is a contact form.

If you use the contact form, we store the name, email address and message you provide, solely so we can reply to you. We do not collect any information from visitors who don't submit the form, beyond the local-storage cookie-consent flag described below.
